Building an ADU doesn’t have to feel complicated. We guide you through every stage, from understanding what’s possible on your property to handing over a completed space. Our process is clear, collaborative, and built around making informed decisions from day one.

work

STEP ONE

Consultation & Property Review

Every project begins with a conversation. We learn about your goals, whether you’re creating space for family, generating rental income, building a home office, or planning for the future. Then we review your property to determine what’s feasible before moving into design.

Our team researches zoning, access, utilities, and site conditions so you have a realistic understanding of your options.

STEP TWO

Desing & Planning

Once we know your property is a good fit, we start designing. Choose from one of our thoughtfully developed ADU models or create a custom design tailored to your needs. Together we’ll refine the layout, size, exterior finishes, and details until the design feels right.

By the end of this stage, you’ll have a clear plan and an accurate vision for your future ADU.

STEP THREE

Permits & Project Preparation

This is where we handle the paperwork so you don’t have to. We coordinate the permitting process, research local requirements, and work through everything needed before construction begins, including: Zoning and setbacks, Septic and perc testing, Well capacity requirements, Scenic Area regulations, County approvals and permitting

Because we’re local builders, we know the unique requirements throughout the Columbia Gorge and keep the process moving efficiently.

STEP FOUR

Build

Once approvals are in place, construction begins. Our experienced local crew manages every phase, from foundation to final trim, with craftsmanship, communication, and attention to detail. Throughout the project, you’ll know where things stand and what comes next.

When we’re finished, you’ll have a beautiful, functional space that’s built to last and ready for whatever comes next.
